  Established in 1994, Saint Louis MHB is an independent government taxing authority administering two special property taxes: the Community Mental Health Fund and the Community Children’s Services Fund. Tax dollars are granted to non-profit organizations that provide high quality services that benefit City residents.

Darrell Hudson

Associate Professor – Brown School of Social Work

Dr. Hudson was first appointed an MHB Trustee November of 2017. Darrell is Associate Professor within the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University. His research focuses on the racial/ethnic health disparities and the role of social determinants of health, particularly how socioeconomic position and social context affect health and health disparities. He also co-directs the Collaboration on Race, Inequality, and Social Mobility within the University. Darrell represents the Skinker-DeBaliviere Neighborhood. Darrell also serves on the MHB Program Committee.
